People often ask me what my favorite ski resort town is. Without hesitation, I always say Cortina d'Ampezzo in the Italian Dolomites. While there are many great ski towns throughout the world, Cortina has a little bit of everything and retains its small town charm.
One of the things I love most about Cortina is the variety of hotels. You can find anything from a five-star luxury hotel to a small bed and breakfast. With so many choices, it can be tough to decide which one to stay in.

- Often include many amenities such as a pool, hot tub, and sauna
- Often less expensive than other types of hotels
Cons:
- Can be quite crowded during peak times

Hotels in Town:
Pros:
- Centrally located in town so you are close to everything
- Often less expensive than other types of hotels
Cons:
